Branch Venture Group is an investment network that provides funding and advice to early-stage food companies. Headquartered in Boston, MA, we focus on investments in the food and beverage CPG, foodtech, and agtech spaces sourced from across the United States. Primary sector focuses include food and beverage products, digital content and media, e-commerce and marketplace platforms, direct to consumer, agriculture technology, industry robotics, hospitality technology, supply chain technology, alternative protein, and related life sciences. 

Branch Venture Group provides opportunities and activities for our angel network members to connect and collaborate around investment opportunities. We host monthly virtual meetings where entrepreneurs are invited to pitch their business plans and products. We organize educational opportunities for our members to learn more about angel investing and topic-focused programming with our network of industry leaders. Branch Venture Group members are also invited to all Branchfood events. As a group, we aspire to lead the early-stage investment activity in food-related deals nationwide.

Our angel network consists of individual investors interested in achieving superior returns by financing privately held companies at an early stage of development. We seek a diverse, active member base from a variety of backgrounds and professions but with a common interest in high-growth food-related businesses. Branch Venture Group is also connected to early-adopters, potential customers, strategic partners, service providers, and follow-on sources of financing.

Our primary focus is investing in entrepreneurs raising between $500K-$3MM with the capacity to syndicate larger opportunities through other networks and venture firms. Our members sit on company boards, help recruit new members, develop strategic partners, refine product and go-to-market strategies, and raise subsequent rounds of funding.
